This Privacy Policy describes how EcomEasy Meesho Autolisting Tool ("the Extension", "we", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our Chrome browser extension.

1. Information We Collect

The Extension collects and stores the following data locally on your device:

• License Key: Used to verify your paid subscription and activate the extension.
• Groq API Key: Used to generate AI-powered product titles and descriptions via the Groq API.
• Device Identifier: A unique ID generated using Chrome's identity API to bind your license key to your device and prevent unauthorized sharing.
• Product Form Data (Profiles): Product listing details (such as titles, descriptions, sizes, prices) that you choose to save as reusable profiles for autofill purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To verify your license and activate the extension's features.
• To autofill product listing forms on supplier.meesho.com on your behalf.
• To generate SEO-optimized product titles and descriptions using the Groq AI API.
• To prevent a single license key from being used on multiple devices simultaneously.

3. Data Storage

All data (license key, API key, and saved profiles) is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage API. We do not store your personal data on our servers, except for license key validation which is verified against our secure database (Supabase) to check validity, expiry, and device binding.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties, except:

• Groq API: Your product-related prompts are sent to Groq's API to generate titles/descriptions. Please refer to Groq's Privacy Policy for their data handling practices.
• Supabase: Your license key and device ID are verified against our Supabase database for activation purposes only.

5. Permissions Used

• storage: To save your license key and API key locally between sessions.
• activeTab: To read and fill form fields on the active Meesho supplier tab only.
• scripting: To inject the autofill logic into the Meesho supplier page.
• identity: To generate a unique device identifier for license verification.
• Host permission (supplier.meesho.com): To interact with the product listing form on the Meesho supplier dashboard.
• Host permission (supabase.co): To verify your license key against our database.

6. Data Retention

Data stored locally on your device remains until you uninstall the extension or manually clear it. License records in our database are retained for the duration of your subscription.

7. Children's Privacy

This Extension is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
